Optimizing Bandwidth and Storage
To maximize bandwidth efficiency and improve image quality, the DCS-4618EK supports H.265 encoding in addition to H.264 and MJPEG to optimize network bandwidth for better visual quality and recording performance. H.265 can provide up to 50% lower bandwidth and storage requirements vs H.264.
